PURPOSE

William Paterson University is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information of users and visitors to wpunj.edu. The University collects certain kinds of data from users and visitors as they browse the site for general site analytics. We have created this privacy statement to explain our practices for gathering information for wpunj.edu.

The Information Technology and Marketing and Public Relations departments are jointly responsible for administering this policy.

William Paterson University is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that is voluntarily given to us via email or other direct contact from a user. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.


We will use such information to respond to a user regarding the reason they contacted us. We will not share a user’s information with any third party outside of our organization (other than organizations contracted by us to perform services on our behalf and who will not share such information with any other organization) and as necessary to fulfill a user request.
